The 2026 Scientific Sessions Subcommittee will send acceptance notifications out to the lead presenter in January 2026 (for session proposals) and March 2026 (for poster abstracts). |
Yes. Please be sure to complete the ‘Speaker Information’ form for all presenters you want to include as part of the session. |
Poster abstracts should be no longer than 2000 characters (not including spaces) for the background, methods, results and conclusions sections. This does not include the title, category, author names/institutions, figures/images and captions, etc. There is a limit of four figures/images (including charts and graphs) per submission. |
Speaker bios should include a brief summary (100 words or less) of the presenter’s professional and/or educational background. This field is used to collect biographical information from presenters that helps inform the Conference audience. Speaker bios will be available for PHA 2026 Conference registrants to view via the website and mobile app. |
Yes, you may update any submitted proposals before the submission deadlines (December 8, 2025 for session proposals and February 2, 2026 for poster abstracts). |
Yes, encore abstract submissions are permissible so long as the submission does not infringe upon any copyright, proprietary or personal right of any third party. |
Yes, all accepted poster abstracts will be published in PHA’s quarterly medical journal, Advances in Pulmonary Hypertension, after the symposium. |
