Engagement Opportunities
Discover the ways you can get involved at PHA 2026 through volunteering, fundraising, participating in community engagement projects and the PHA 2026 Fashion Show.
Fashion Show
At PHA 2026, attendees are invited to strut, style or slyly disguise oxygen cannulas, mobility devices and medication pumps during the Saturday Night Fashion Show. Attendees can take what’s often seen as purely medical and transform the items into bold expressions of resilience, creativity and hope.
A fan-favorite event at PHA’s biannual International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions, the fashion show typically features about 20 participants. The tradition began at PHA 2002 and continues to spotlight the confidence, individuality and strength of the PH community.
How to Participate
You must have pulmonary hypertension or care for someone with PH to participate. Choose from four categories to style your outfit and show it off on the runway: formal wear, PHA pride (zebra print and periwinkle), sports and superheroes. The runway is wheelchair/scooter accessible.
To participate, mark that you are interested in the Fashion Show when you register for PHA 2026. Once you register, PHA will follow up with more information about the event.

Community Engagement Activities
PHA is committed to giving back to both the PH community and the Dallas area. You can work alongside other attendees to give back to the conference host city in the PHA 2026 Community Engagement Project.
Volunteer to make 100 "Hope Bags" filled with hygiene kits, socks, other needed items and inspirational cards to be delivered to the unhoused population of Dallas and surrounding areas. Volunteers will also vote for the community engagement activity at the PHA 2028 in Columbus, Ohio.
Before or after filling Hope Bags, attendees can show off their creative side by creating artwork from the PHA’s provided supplies. All artwork will be displayed on the conference Wall of Hope and Remembrance, memorializing those we have lost and looking forward to a world without PH.
