Scholarships

Need help paying for registration to PHA 2026? Conference scholarship applications are open Monday, Feb 23, through Monday, May 11, or until funds run out. Scholarships cover registration fees and some travel expenses for eligible patients and caregivers. PHA’s Scholarships Committee awards scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis, as funds are limited. Scholarships may be awarded to both first-time conference attendees and previous attendees

Did you know PHA Community Memberships are free for all patients, caregivers and family members? Your membership must be valid through June 14, 2026 to apply for a PHA 2026 scholarship.

Scholarship Application Criteria

There are four types of available scholarships, but applicants can only apply for one scholarship each. To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

U.S. adult

• 18 years old or older.
• Live in the United States.
• Have pulmonary hypertension.
• Demonstrate financial need.

U.S. Pediatric

• Pediatric applicants can be previous scholarship recipients.
• Child with PH under 18 years old or parent/guardian of a PH patient 17 years old or younger.
• Live in the U.S.
• Demonstrate financial need.

Speaker

• Accepted/invited patient or caregiver PHA 2026 breakout speaker.
• Demonstrate financial need.

International

• Child or adult with PH.
• Live outside of the United States or U.S. territories.
• Demonstrate financial need.
